ESTIMATE (editorial, per league). Weighs level, import slots and how clubs usually recruit.
How players typically get in: Clubs recruit imports directly or through agents for the Australian winter season; local work or coaching roles are sometimes part of the package. (our summary)
Housing estimate: Sometimes (estimate for this level)
Typical pay estimate: Est.: semi-pro to amateur
Season window estimate: Australian winter (roughly Mar/Apr – Aug, est.)

Note: Sits below NBL1 North; QSL2 men's and women's divisions and youth leagues sit beneath. South Australia's old Premier League is now NBL1 Central, and WA's State Basketball League became NBL1 West.

Before you sign anything here: confirm the club is real through the league's official site, check your agent on the official FIBA agent search, and never pay an upfront “placement” fee. Full checklist →
