Camps / Organizers
16 organizers that run tryouts, combines, showcases, pro-ams and summer leagues every year, including ones whose next dates aren't out yet. Prices are what the organizer published; notes are conservative and sourced.
G League tryout · North America
Legitimacy: Run by the official NBA G League teams. Real but very long odds: most teams invite at most a few tryout players to training camp. Fees are usually non-refundable. source
Pro combine (US minor league) · North America
Legitimacy: Run by the league itself; leads to TBL (US minor-pro) opportunities, not overseas contracts. source
TBT / pro-am tournament · North America
Legitimacy: Established, televised 5-on-5 event with a $2M winner-take-all prize (2026). Good exposure for pros between seasons; not a tryout. source
College-grad pro showcase · North America
Legitimacy: Long-running (72nd edition in 2026) showcase for graduating seniors watched by NBA and overseas scouts. You cannot pay to enter. source
Summer league · North America
Legitimacy: Official NBA event. Our note: anyone selling a 'Summer League spot' is a red flag. Rosters are set by NBA teams. source
Pro-am · North America
Legitimacy: Well-known LA pro-am featuring NBA and overseas pros. Exposure and runs, not a placement service. source
Europe showcase (prospects) · Europe
Legitimacy: Invite-only prospect camp attended by NBA and European scouts (19th edition, 5–7 Jun 2026). Not open to paying walk-ins. source

Overseas tryout · North America

Pro development program · Europe (Barcelona)
Legitimacy: Expensive multi-week program. Placement is not guaranteed; ask for verifiable past placements. source
Asia showcase / summer league · Asia (Tokyo) + US combine tour
Legitimacy: Organizer claims '40+ individuals signed' from past years: unverified. Sponsored spots depend on tryout revenue, per the organizer. source
Pro combine (official, draft entrants) · Asia (Japan)
Legitimacy: Official league event (measurements, skills, club interviews). Only for draft-eligible entrants, not an import tryout. source
Europe showcase (youth 12–18) · Europe (Arezzo, Italy)
Legitimacy: Youth showcase (boys 12–18), not a pro tryout. Lists clubs and college programs it works with; outcomes are the organizer's own claims. source
