ESTIMATE (editorial, per league). Weighs level, import slots and how clubs usually recruit.
How players typically get in: Company teams hire employees who play; not an import route. (our summary)
Housing estimate: Rarely (estimate for this level)
Typical pay estimate: Amateur (players are company employees)

Note: Japan Society Basketball Federation (JSB) competitions below the B.League; the All-Japan club championship had 32 men's teams in Feb 2026 (japanbasketball.jp/release/84561).

Before you sign anything here: confirm the club is real through the league's official site, check your agent on the official FIBA agent search, and never pay an upfront “placement” fee. Full checklist →
